Fixed Deposits are available at variable rates of interest and for specific time period. The interest rate ar subject to negotiation depending on the quantum and duration. So you aren’t a retiree, but you have a chunk of funds that you want to invest in the expectation that you would get an attractive return. Well, Venture has created just the right investment instrument for you, our VENTURE Deposit Fund. This instrument was created about six years ago, in response to widespread interest by non-retirees in our Retirees Deposit Fund. In order to satisfy our members, the Credit Union created a product similar to the Retirees Fund, so that non-retirees could also benefit from attractive rates of return on large deposits. By investing sums of $10,000 upwards in the Venture Deposit Fund, our members are now benefiting from better-than-average tax-free returns on their investments. Additionally, investors can use their deposits as security for loans, while continuing to receive their monthly interest income. |
